Levi Strauss, born Löb Strauss (February 26, 1829 – September 26, 1902) was a German-Jewish immigrant to the United States who founded the first company to manufacture blue jeans. His firm, Levi Strauss & Company, began in 1853 in San Jose, California.
7 For All Mankind
7 For All Mankind (often referred to simply as Seven or Seven Jeans)
is brand of a designer jeans owned since 2007 by the VF Corporation.
Prior to its acquisiition by VF, Seven Jeans was a California-based
designer jeans company founded by Michael Glasser, Peter Koral, and Jerome Dahan in 2000 and headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
7 for All Mankind began by designing women's jeans. It later
introduced a men's jeans line in fall 2002, and its Children Denim
Collection for boys and girls in fall 2005. In addition to jeans, 7 for
All Mankind produces other clothing items such as skirts, shorts, and
denim jackets. The brand is sold in over 80 countries including Western
Europe, Canada, and Japan.
The 7 For All Mankind brand has strong recognition worldwide and is
particularly well known among celebrities and fashion-conscious denim
consumers. The 7 For All Mankind logo consists of a large,
brushstroke-style numeral 7 with the words "for all mankind" written
across it in a smaller, stylized script. This logo has traditionally
been found on the inside back waistband of 7 For All Mankind's denim
products as well as sewn on to the back pocket. The 7 For All Mankind
logo appears in various locations on other products such as footwear
and handbags. In some European markets, the logo features a stylized
pair of jeans as the background element rather than the numeral 7.
True Religion
Jeffrey Lubell founded True Religion in 2002 with the intention of
redefining premium denim. His vision was to make quality,
American-made, authentic, timeless, great fitting, 1970’s inspired
jeans wear, with a trendsetting appeal for today’s consumer. Today,
True Religion Brand Jeans is known not only for its denim, but also for
its knit and woven sportswear, such as t-shirts, western shirts,
sweatshirts and sweatpants that all have that vintage feel. True
Religion’s commitment to perfect fit, timeless style and that hippie
bohemian chic flare have solidified True Religion’s brand position as a
leader in premium denim and casual sportswear globally. While

Rock & Republic
Rock & Republic is an American jeans brand founded by fashion mogul Michael Ball in 2002. Good friend Andrea Bernholtz
serves as the company's president. Prior to starting the company, Ball
was an avid cyclist who gained design experience by creating his
cycling team's uniforms.
Rock & Republic is well known for "VB Rocks", a line of
"bum"-flattering jeans and casual wear designed by singer Victoria
Beckham.
Although best known for its high-end denim wear, Rock &
Republic's features clothing lines for men, women and children,
including maternity wear, women's shoes and recent introductions of eye
wear and handbags.
Rock & Republic merchandise is carried in Von Maur, Lord &
Taylor, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Holt Renfrew, Saks
Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Harrods and Harvey Nichols, as well as
small boutiques, such as Len Druskin and
Stanley Korshak. In the fall of 2008, upscale department store, Lord
& Taylor, will also be part of the list of stores that will carry
the brand.
The company sponsors a professional cycling team named Rock Racing,
which is noted for its constantly changing team kit as well as its
Cadillac Escalade team car.
Paige Premium Denim
Paige Premium Denim, LLC was founded
in 2004 by fit model Paige Adams-Geller on the principle
that you don’t have to be a size zero to look
great and feel great in a pair of designer jeans.
As the body behind such brands as 7 For All Mankind,
Lucky Brand, Citizens of Humanity, Guess and others,
Paige Adams-Geller realized it was time she used
her expertise and unique values to create the “perfect
fitting jean.” In a little more than a year,
Paige Premium Denim landed its signature whipstitch
on derrières all over the world. The fit model
known for having “the best butt in the business” soon
became known as the designer who makes “the
best butt jeans” in the business.
After only three years
on the scene (and counting!), Paige Premium Denim has entered

doors from the United States to Europe and can be found
in the top department stores as well as the most stylish
and chic boutiques across the globe, including the flagship

American Eagle
American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO) is an American clothing and accessories retailer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1977 by Mark and Jerry Silverman as a subsidiary of Retail Ventures, Inc., a company which also owned and operated Silverman's Menswear. The Silvermans sold their ownership interests in 1991.
American Eagle (also stylized as Am. Eagle, A.E.O, Amer. Eagle, A.E., æ, and A.E. Outfitters) targets teens and young adults. Some of the best selling products of American Eagle Outfitters are Low-rise jeans, Polo Shirts, Graphic T-shirts (with the AE logo and year established), and swimwear.
Wrangler
Wrangler is a manufacturer of jeans. The brand is owned by the VF Corporation, who also own Lee, JanSport and The North Face, among others. Its headquarters are located in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, with production plants in a variety of locations throughout the world. Wrangler International is now chaired by Dieter Jacobfeuerborn.
Wrangler Jeans were first made by Blue Bell, who acquired the brand when they took over Casey Jones in the mid-1940s. Blue Bell employed Bernard Lichtenstein ('Rodeo Ben'), a Polish tailor from Łódź who worked closely with cowboys, to help design jeans suitable for rodeo use. This was the origin of Wrangler Jeans. The 13MWZ style, introduced in 1947 as lot number 11MWZ, is still available worldwide. In addition to this, Wrangler has since introduced several other lines that are more designated towards a specific group or demographic. Some examples of this are 20X, Riggs and Aura.
Wrangler also has a line of music accessories targeted toward country music fans.
